Ingredients
Frappé
- 3 Golden Delicious apples (or any variety of your choice)
- 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz/354 mL)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (5 oz/147 mL)
- 3 oz (90 mL) rum, brandy, hard cider (or regular cider for non-alcoholic version)
- Vanilla ice cream, to thicken
Apple Cups
- Four large apples of your favourite variety
Juice of one lemon - 4 Maraschino cherries for garnish, optional

Wash, peel, core and cut the apples into quarters. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend with enough ice cream to obtain desired thickness.

Cut the tops off of 4 large apples. Hollow out the inside, leaving a ½ inch (1 cm) thick shell.

Brush the inside with lemon juice to prevent browning. Pour frappé into apple cups, garnish each with a maraschino cherry (optional) and serve immediately.
