The National Sunflower Association (NSA) is a non-profit organization consisting of farmers, processors, exporters, and researchers. The NSA focuses on market development and promotion, education, production and utilization research and policy issues. Canada is the top export market of U.S. refined sunflower oil, which is an excellent choice for food manufacturers and foodservice operators.  Sunflower oil is trans fat free and non-GMO. It has superior stability and a longer fry ‘life’ than other oils, making it an ideal choice for a wide variety of food applications.  Sunflower oil also has a light neutral taste. In a recent survey, 64% of Canadians indicated that they are interested in purchasing products made with sunflower oil.
