About U.S. Cooperators

tasteU.S. works with over 40 U.S. cooperators and agricultural partners dedicated to offering Canadians an amazing selection of high-quality, safe and nutritious U.S.-grown food and beverage products.

Their mission is to enable producers to deliver the delicious foods and beverages that find their way into the homes of millions of consumers on a daily basis, and create awareness of the special features of their respective commodities.

U.S. cooperators are an active bunch, working hard to market their agricultural products in Canada. They regularly support industry-wide events like the Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s annual trade show. They also independently engage in a number of educational awareness-building activities such as: working with Canadian national grocers to support retail promotions across the country; conducting international trade missions that include retail tours and educational market seminars; and engaging bloggers in special contests, like a watermelon carving contest arranged by the National Watermelon Promotion Board.

Most importantly, cooperators work diligently to continually establish and maintain the highest of standards for all the agricultural products under their watch.  The growers they represent keep health, safety and quality as their number one priorities.
