About

What is tasteU.S.
tasteU.S. is an initiative that was created in 2005 by the U.S. Food and Beverage Alliance to increase awareness of the cooperators’ commodities in Canada.

tasteU.S. works with over 40 U.S. cooperators to bring Canadians an amazing selection of fresh, quality U.S.-grown food and beverage products, as well as pre-packaged goods– everything from table grapes to craft beer. Our cooperators represent high-quality agricultural commodities in Canada. Many of the products are available 365 days a year and sourced from our agricultural partners that offer an abundance of fresh produce and nutritious foods.

tasteU.S. is visible through retail promotions and industry events. We often organize trade and consumer events, like the recent tasteUS! Culinary Celebration at the Hockey Hall of Fame. We want Canadians and trade groups to get to know even more about all the delectable food and beverage choices available to them, and the skilled and dedicated cooperators we work with. They labour tirelessly to ensure that those foods and beverages are produced to the highest of standards. Together, we are proud to be able to showcase the great trade relationship that exists between Canada and the United States, which is the largest of its kind in the world.
